Bluebox Avionics has announced its Ai IFE system, which presupposes handing of the iPad to each passenger after taking off. Passengers can use these iPads during the whole flight.
Applications containing safety instructions, Duty-Free catalogues and other promotional materials can be pre-installed on the iPad. There will also be used developments containing security system for device protection from unfair citizens.
It is currently reported that several large international airlines have already signed contract with Bluebox Avionics, however, so far there is no information about terms.
