Office Networking Website Yammer is Now Owned by Microsoft

Microsoft has now cleared that it has now bought Yammer which is an office networking website. The company also told that the deal took place at the price of about $1.2 billion.

Yammer is networking site similar to facebook but it is mostly used to share data within the companies. Big Firms like Ford Motors and business services Deloitte have been using this website website.

Yammer is about four years old and it includes about five million users who use it to contact the people within the company.

Yammer’s chief executive told that the idea of Yammer was to do something big as they believed that social networking could really change the format in which the companies work today.

Last Year Microsoft bought Skype which is used by the company very well in its products which is helping in providing more features to the customers.
