Land Air Sea Warfare Review: An All Terrain Battle For the Ages

Real Time Strategy games have been attempted on the iDevice, but nothing is nearly as good as LASW. Build and command huge armies to dominate the map and opposing countries using your own wit and warfare intelligence. This game is not just the best RTS I’ve ever played on my iPod, it’s the best game I’ve ever played on my iPod period.Your goal in LASW is to destroy the opposing countries’ headquarters. Do this by researching different technologies, building factories, generators, and units for the land, air and sea, assembling mega units, upgra...read more

Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior HD iPhone and iPad Review: A One-Hit K.O.

Simply mentioning the name Bruce Lee  is sure to conjure up fear and awe to anyone who hasn't been anyone who hasn't been hiding under a rock for the past few decades.  Not only did he conquer the martial arts world, as well as TV and movies his legacy is now attempting to tackle the gaming world in Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior for both the iPhone and iPad devices. Sword and Poker Review: A Mismatch Made In Heaven

Peanut butter and jelly, sweet and sour chicken, pretzels and ice cream. These are just a few of the combination’s that on paper sound like they would be a complete disaster, but once they are experienced you will never be able to go back to one without the other.  The app-store has seen its fair share of  mix and matching of genre’s  as well, but I can not recall many applications that stick out in my mind as pure creative genius like the masterpiece developer GAIA has created for the iPhone and iTouch devices. Tripletters: Give the App Stores Newest Word App a Spin!

What's Word Scramble, mixed with a bit of Vegas-style slot machine gambling, and a dash of Textropolis?  A little lost?  Allow me to explain in a little bit of detail.  Tripletters is a word-making puzzle game where there's no timer, or time limit, and the object of the game is to put together words with the three letters (a la triple letters) that are given to you.  The longer your words the more points you score and the higher your score, the better your overall rank.Where the gambling kicks in the wagering a certain amount of "diamonds", whi...read more

Baseball Superstars 2010 Hits a Home Run

Gamevil's Baseball Superstars 2010 comes just in time for MLB playoff time. Does Gamevil's newest addition to the app family hit a homerun with the gaming community? Or is it a swing and a miss? Is it going to follow in the footsteps of the summer blockbuster movies that failed to meet all the hype? Let's put our helmet on, grab this app and see if it hits out of the ballpark or if it ...read more

Tetris is a game that has stood the test of time. Many games have tried to mimc the same concept but only few have ever found success because, as they say, nothing is better than the original. Dirt Moto Racing Review

I remember when Aqua Moto came out for the App Store and Glenn sent me about a dozen IM hits to tell me that I had to pick it up.  I finally did (maybe just to shut him up), and loved the game.  I’d just bought a few other boat and jet ski type games and was hesitant to get another one (fool me once, and so on).  But I had to admit that Glenn was right on the money.  It was a game that made me forget the pain of the other games and I had a blast playing it. Sentinel 2: Earth Defense

A while ago when the first Sentinel game came out I really didn’t hear that much about it.  In fact, it wasn’t until I read a review about it on this site that I decided to pick it up.  From that point on I was very hooked to some of the unique elements that Sentinel: Mars Defense (now just Sentinel 1 in my book) had to offer to the very crowded Tower Defense genre.
